Team members must have at least a “C” average to participate.
Team members must follow the code of conduct when representing your team, even at events outside of school.
-Please be fair to the competition.
-Must not be mean spirited and let the game cause you to behave rudely.
-Do not share information with other teams. (revenue, plans, etc.)
-Cheating of any kind will not be tolerated and the team may be disqualified.
When a team receives seed money for a task, a Petty Cash Form must be completed and returned with all receipts attached.
-Seed money does not go towards profit.
-If your expenses exceed the seed money you were given, they count as additional expenses and get subtracted from your revenue.
Team members should take turns in various roles.
-Do not designate one person to be the treasurer for all tasks.
Team members will perform individual team member evaluations as well as a team leader evaluation at the end of each task.
-Please evaluate your team members/leader fairly.
-Just because someone is your friend does not mean you automatically give them an A or if someone makes you mad you fail them.
-Do not come up with a team arrangement –“Hey guys, lets always give each other “A’s”.
Teams will complete an After Task Evaluation.
-This is to be completed as a group after the task so you have an opportunity to discuss the task, what you could have done differently, successes, failures, etc.
If a team member consistently under-performs he/she may be fired from the group.
-This team member will still be in the class, but will complete the course curriculum by working on material from the textbook.
The members of the team with the most wins at the end of the competition will each receive $50 scholarship. The member on that team with the highest score, or the most MVP’s will receive $100 scholarship and the designation of “The Entrepreneur” for the year.
This competition is meant to be a fun way to incorporate the course curriculum for the semester. If at any time Mrs. Jordan decides to change the rules to best fit a situation she can and will.
